When you have checked all of the settings on the recorder and only faint sound or no sound at all can be heard, the batteries may be at fault. Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly, according to the diagram in the bottom of the compartment, and are fully charged. Replace them if caygiocromchanmangcons.bigsnonabermalinmucelrobilamcess.co: Aimee Warner.

Sep 15,  · Nothing on an audio tape will sound right if it's moving too slowly. Even dry dialogue is interrupted by a dragging cassette. The problem is usually in the cassettes, not the cassette player. An audio cassette has to maintain a certain tension on its own spools to move at the correct speed.

What could cause a TEAC WR cassette deck that is connected to a Marantz PM amplifier through the recorder 2MD/ with tape terminals behind the amp; to have no sound when a tape is played? One could try to connect the TEAC to the receiver through the AUX/DVD input. Flip the input to AUX and the system should be working.

Dec 10,  · Hi guys, Have a Sony TCKs cassette deck for about 10yrs but it's as new and well looked after, heads and rollers clean regularly. Sometimes (for a couple of yrs now) when starting to play a tape the sound goes low and dull intermittently or at times very dull for about a minute or two and then comes back and might continue to do this during 3 or 4 songs.

Nov 20,  · If possible, connect the speakers to another known working audio source in order to ensure that they still operate properly. This is made simpler if the speaker(s) in question offer mm and/or RCA connections (you'll need a mm-to-RCA stereo audio cable) to plug into something convenient, such as a smartphone.

Worn or damaged belts can cause distortion of the sound coming from the cassette player. Clean the belts with a foam swab dipped in rubber cleaning compound if the belt is sticky. Use needle-nose pliers to remove the belt for replacement.

Jun 13,  · Besides being a good old cassette player, the device is also a converter. However, unlike the device we just reviewed, this one doesn’t need special software or a computer to convert the sound from the cassette into MP3 format. As long as you have a USB flash drive or an external hard drive, you can do the conversion anytime, anywhere.
